Enhances the standard functions of Microsoft Internet Information Serve

The Archive IFilter enhances the standard functions of Microsoft Internet Information Server, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and all other products operating on Microsoft Indexing Server by providing the customer with seamless control over different types of archives.

Archive IFilter searches within archive files and indexes specified information so that users can easily search for the text within archived files. File formats supported by this filter are ZIP and RAR.

Archive IFilter allows interoperability between Microsoft Office, Text, HTML, and Adobe PDF. Archive IFilter also co-operates with Alna MSG IFilter to ensure that archive files in e-mail messages are indexed properly.
