Thermal printers are fast, but they come with very few built-on typefaces. That makes it very difficult to design professional looking labels, especially if you (or a customer) have one or more special typefaces that you prefer. Our Windows printer drivers bring the full power of Windows TrueType® fonts to your thermal printer. So now you can have high speed, durability and good looks.

Controls Forms Length on Continuous Forms Laser Printers

A number of specialty laser printers have been developed that closely emulate the Hewlett-Packard standard, but allow you to print on continuous form pin-feed labels instead of separate sheets. Unfortunately, the standard HP laser drivers that come with Windows don't allow you to specify custom paper sizes and therefore don't properly support printing on the variety of available label sizes. Seagull's drivers for continuous form laser printers are directly based on the standard “HP” driver distributed with Windows. You get the forms control you need while maintaining full HP compatibility.

Supports Windows Graphics and Printers' Built-In Barcodes and Text

Seagull's printer drivers allow the printing of high resolution “raster” graphics. Since raster graphics can be a “picture” of anything, this includes text, barcodes and graphics. But many thermal printers have their own built-in barcodes and typefaces that can be printed faster than they can be "drawn" using Windows graphics. Seagull's printer drivers allow you to select your printer's built-in typefaces from within your Windows applications. And with the BarTender, you can also access any barcodes built into the printer.

Extra High Speed Capabilities For Large Print Jobs

When printing out multiple, identical labels, our drivers allow printing using a “number of copies” specifier. This allows much faster printing than can be achieved by repeatedly retransmitting each label to the printer. And, if you are also using The BarTender, you can even improve upon your printer's built-in copies limit. For example, most HP-compatible printers are normally limited to 99 identical copies. But The BarTender talks to out printer drivers in a way that allows any number of copies.
