AML wireless handheld terminals integrate into a wide range of barcode computing environments. Each M7100 ships fully loaded with VT100/VT220 terminal emulation, a native TN5250 client, FTP server, HTTP server, TELNET client, Web Browser, WEP and WPA/WPA2 advanced encryption and authentication capabilities (EAP-PEAP, EPA-TLS, EAP-TTLS, and PSK-TKIP). Options are also available for 3270 and 5250 applications requiring screen shaping and/or keyboard mapping, Windows® ODBC and OLE DB data sources, or C++. The M7100's computing flexibility simplifies the application development process, making the M7100 wireless hand held terminal quick and easy to implement. Options include GSM/GPRS radio technology and multiple bar code scan engine choices, including 2D.

The M7100's embedded operating system, coupled with StrongARM® technology, delivers powerful and fast performance which allows the M7100 to run applications many times faster than competitive devices. Extended operation is ensured by the M7100's enhanced power management, which supports 8-hour work shifts without recharging.
