PT2000 - Portable, Flexible Data Collection

Small and lightweight, the PT2000 is your answer to portable data collection, its convenient size fits comfortably in your hand, it weighs only 12 oz. including batteries, and it's loaded with all the features you require in a portable. The PT2000 gives you the flexibility to choose the appropriate input device for your application, whether it's a wand, CCD, 5V laser, or I.D. Badge scanner. Its four-line by 16-character LCD display provides easy readability and 34 splash resistant alphanumeric keys, including four programmable keys, give you the option of keying in data.

In addition, the PT2000 offers up to two megabytes of data storage, making even your largest applications portable. Three AA alkaline or a rechargeable Nicad battery pack power your PT2000 for up to 12 hours of continuous use (20,000 scans with a 5V laser or CCD). Should your batteries fail, a lithium backup battery is built into the unit for up to 10 days of memory storage. The PT2000 features a built-in AT, PS/2 interface, so you can use it as a keyboard wedge for those applications requiring fixed station scanning. This double duty feature allows you to maximize your investment - saving you money! Backed by a one-year warranty, this durable unit is rugged enough to withstand multiple drops to concrete. TopGun - Portable Scanning and Data Collection

Scanning bar codes on flat, curved, or irregular surfaces at distances from 2.5 to 36.0 inches is easy with TopGun. Its rugged one-handed design gives you durability, reliable performance, and freedom of movement, even in the most demanding industrial work environments. TopGun consists of a PT2000 portable data collection terminal integrated with a TopGun laser module. Weighing 16 oz., including three AA batteries, TopGun is lightweight and easy to use. It operates like any other handheld laser - just aim it and pull the trigger.

TopGun's balanced, ergonomic design quickly adapts for either right-or left-handed use. The unique modular construction of the TopGun laser module allows you to upgrade your existing PT2000 in seconds! LEDs located on the back of the scan head indicate laser activation and good reads. An audible tone also indicates scanning success.

PT Dock

Designed specifically for use with the PT2000 or TopGun, the PT Dock provides a connection between your PSC portable and your computer without sacrificing the convenience of portability. The PT Dock allows you to transmit data to and from your host system, using serial or keyboard wedge communications. The PT Dock also recharges your Nicad battery pack and lithium backup battery.
