BBEdit 5 Screen Shots
This screen shots contains of some of BBEdit's principal windows and dialogs.
Editing Window
This is a text editing window. The area immediately below the window title
is called the "Status Bar". It contains information about the document's contents,
and allows you to set many display and file options.
Preferences Window
This window is used to access all of BBEdit's preferences settings.
Preferences are organized into sections according to their purpose.
The available preferences sections are listed in the lefthand side of the
window, while the settings for the chosen section are listed in the panel on the righthand side.
Find Dialog
Aside from editing windows, this dialog is one of the things you will probably
see most often in BBEdit. As you can see, almost every option is accessible from the keyboard for maximum efficiency.
Search Results Browser
After you perform a multi-file or batch search operation, BBEdit shows you the
search results in a search results browser. The top pane contains a list of all
the files where matches were found (or of all the matches for a single file batch search),
while the section of the file corresponding to the currently selected match is shown in the bottom pane.
