The CBStrategy Parser Library adds power and flexibility to your applications. This component compiles and evaluates expressions given at run-time, based on constants, variables and functions. With this component you can implement flexible business rules, decision support systems, tax calculation, mathematical expression evaluation, spreadsheet support, among many others applications.

The CBStrategy Parser Library is a set of classes written in standard C++ with a COM tier which allows it to be used in languages that support COM such as, Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic .Net, Visual C++ 6.0 and Visual C++ .Net.

The CBStrategy Parser Library was implemented with two robust technologies: a syntax directed translation algorithm and a virtual machine. The syntax directed translation algorithm generates the byte-code which represents the assembly language operations for the virtual machine. The virtual machine is responsible for executing the byte-code.
