Protivia supports two sets of words.
The first set contains all C/C++ reserved words and their settings are common for all the projects.
The second set is for user defined words. It contains words that are specific for each project. The user can add and/or remove words in this set and also import words and their settings from other projects. For any word the color and font style can be selected.

CodeMapper

CodeMapper fits the way you work, expands your productivity and speeds your project up. To obtain high quality documentation, developers don't need to add any special comments in their source code. CodeMapper analyzes all C/C++ files of the project, extracts all declarations and builds up a documentation containing descriptions of these declarations. Additional tools for viewing class hierarchy as well as class browsing are provided.

CodeMapper is ready to be used with MS Visual C++TM, Borland C++ BuilderTM and UNIX C++ projects. It means that you can load special template files before starting the CodeMapperTM analysis. After finishing the analysis, CodeMapperTM generates the documentation of your C/C++ project and displays it in the Document view. You can export it in a rich text file and HTML later. The generated document consists of sections with categories of declarations. There are default typographic conventions for the text in the various sections but CodeMapperTM lets you configure these settings at your own convenience. If you want you can change the text format of a section in your documentation. You can change the order of the sections in your documentation - categories and access specifiers.

Class Hierarchy Scheme visualizes the class hierarchy built on the basis of the C/C++ declarations in your project. It represents the inheritance relations between the classes in your C/C++ project and is created automatically by CodeMapper. This additional tool is displayed in the Class hierarchy view, which can be customized by the user.

The CodeMapper environment includes several tools - the Class browser, Project view, Comment editor, Document view, Class hierarchy scheme and Hints view.

A project created by CodeMapperTM represents a file with a cmp extension. It contains the following information:

results of the last analysis
files that have to be processed
comments made by the user
the template file name

You can create a new CodeMapper project by pointing a single file from your C/C++ project and it's all you have to do. When you open an existing CodeMapper project, it will be re-analyzed automatically. If you have made changes in your source code, CodeMapper may recognize them and respectively do some changes in the documentation.
