DGN IFilter enables the above-mentioned platforms to look inside MicroStation files (of DGN and CEL formats) and index all valuable information so that users can easily search for text within drawings and cell libraries. When an indexing client needs to index content from ".dgn" and ".cel" documents it will look into files using DGN IFilter.

  • Cell descriptions
  • Text data (optionally)
  • Index file name
  • Other elements/element fields, containing text data
