You're a programmer, not an English Major

EDSSpell is a native Delphi & CBuilder VCL component and requires no additional DLLs. There are no run-time royalties for distributing applications with EDSSpell.

Much like an OpenDialog or PrintDialog component, developers can drop a SpellDlg component onto their form. They can spell check a document with one line of code:

SpellDlg1.SpellCheck (Memo1);
for the CBuilder crowd:
SpellDlg1->SpellCheck (Memo1);

Free EDSSpell Dictionaries

EDSSpell ships with several dictionaries (and you can open as many as you like) including English, Legal, Medical, and Spanish. These dictionaries are FREE and can also be downloaded from this web site.

Or you may choose to make your own dictionaries using the included dictionary compiler (MAKEDAWG.EXE).

EDSSpell version continues EDSSpell's support of several third party word processing and database components including TurboPower's Orpheus, Woll2Woll Software's InfoPower, Julian Ziersch's superior WPTools, TX TextControl (in Borland's Visual Solutions Pack), and TechnoSoft's LEdit to name a few.

You can also add EDSSpell's new TSpellPopupMenu component with one line of code in your editor's OnMouseUp event.
