Crainiate Entity Relationship Modelling Controls enable the rapid development of visual drag-and-drop database model, flowcharts, organizational charts, workflow applications or any entity-relationship based model applications.

Entities (Items such as objects, tables, people or flow chart elements) are represented on screen by icons and any associated meta-data by an intuitive multi-level drop down menu. Relationships are easily created between Entities, displayed in various line and textual styles.

Entity meta-data is presented using a drop down treeview menu approach. These icons can be dragged and repositioned to best display the model.

A full object model is available for controlling and adding Entities and well as Relationships, as well the ability to describe Entity meta-data through an XML interface. Models themselves can also be imported and exported through an XML file and schema.

• Line caps display arrows on target points of relationship lines for models such as flowcharts and organisation charts. With a line cap enabled, relationship lines will now automatically dock to the nearest point on the target entity
• Custom actions - Allow users to browse for files, launch applications and open hyperlinks from the erm control. Custom actions can are stored in the model xml file and launched by users during runtime. The model also allows for other actions such as requesting and displaying database information to be seamlessly incorporated into the control
• Multi-select and drag and drop for entities
• SavePicture method saves the contents of the current model as a bmp to file
• ShowScrollBars - scroll any controls into view using the scrollbars or the Mousewheel on supported devices

Flowbuilder was built using ERM 2.0 and Crainiate XSuite. New features include:
