Intelligent Quick Reports

Organizing results in a meaningful way is the hardest part of reporting. Foxfire! creates all of these common types of reports quickly and automatically:

• Detail Report: One output (print line or record) per selected record.
• Summary Report: One summary output per selected record grouping.
• Cross-Tab Report: (1x1 in table format) Summarizes information in a spreadsheet-like row and column format. Example: a report of total sales for each salesperson (down the rows) by month (across the columns).
• Labels: Foxfire! can print most Avery® type labels and custom formats. A layout assistant makes the process quick and easy.

Output Options

No Form Painting Required

Many report writers boast drag-and-drop form painters. Translation: you have to spend extra time laying out each new report with a form painter. Foxfire! eliminates form painting altogether by automatically formatting the output from a customizable template (additional templates may be added if needed). Since most users prefer reports in a few basic layouts, additional formatting is unnecessary in most cases. Of course, if you need it, there's a built-in layout editor in Foxfire!, too.

Foxfire! also has several group break options to enhance readability. These include formatting options like a page break when a group changes and calculations -- like weighted average -- in the group footer.

Enterprise Developer's Edition comes with source code, FoxPro project components, and a single user license for the Report Designer (this license cannot be distributed to end users however). With it, you can create a customized report writer that you can distribute with your application.

Foxfire! Enterprise Edition Report Designer licenses are required so that users may create reports. You don't need to have a license to run the reports or customize the FRX-generated layout. These licenses are limited to the same network and may not be distributed.
