IRControl is a .Net component that provides infrared communications between .Net applications running on desktop PC's and handheld PDAs. IRControl supports the industry standard OBEX protocol allowing file transfers to/from most PDA's including PalmOS and Pocket PC devices.

IRControl provides your .Net application with a variety of events to allow your application to monitor PDA activity. Some of the events include:

• Event to notify your application when a PDA attempts to transfer file to the PC
• Event to allow your application to display file transfer progress

Requirements

• IRControl component is compatible with any .Net language
• Palm OS PDA's: Requires Palm OS 3.0 or higher.
• Pocket PC PDA's: Requires version Pocket PC 3.0 or higher
• Requires Infrared adapter on your desktop system
• Windows XP or Windows 2000
