When you have a relatively small scanning volume, an Adrenaline software engine gives you the features you need with out the high cost of a hardware engine. The Adrenaline Capture Engine supports scanning, display, and network printing for applications that do not need image processing. The Adrenaline Capture Engine supports scanning at up to 30 images per minute. It is capable of file storage and retrieval (supports TIFF, multi-page TIFF, PCX, BMP, JPEG file formats), as well as image compression and decompression, scaling and rotation. Adrenaline works with any of the thousands of applications that have been built with ImageControls 2.x or greater, including Kofax Ascent Capture. This software has also been tested and recommended for mid-range and low-volume scanners from Bell+Howell, Canon, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, Kodak, Panasonic, and Ricoh.
