File Conversions

The LEADTOOLS Image Server gives you, the web site administrator, the power to allow your clients the most flexibility possible via file conversions. If you want to give your clients the ability to download an image that is stored in over 140 possible image formats, including PDF, JPEG2000*, CMW* and JBIG compressed images by converting the images to standard web browser formats(JPEG, GIF and PNG), then the LEADTOOLS Image Server can help you.

Also, if you have some users that have broadband connections while others are still using dial up, then you can set up multiple configurations for the LEADTOOLS Image Server to send the correct image resolution based on the client's specific needs.

Imaging Portability

Because the imaging ISAPI included with LEADTOOLS Image Server runs in Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), your web clients do not have to download anything to take full advantage of all of the LEADTOOLS Image Server functionality. The LEADTOOLS Image Server can return the image wrapped in HTML or just the image, depending upon your needs. The only thing your client needs to leverage the potential of the LEADTOOLS Image Server is a web browser.

Image Server Administration

The LEADTOOLS Image Server includes a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap in. The MMC snap in gives the administrator an easy to use visual interface to the configuration options of the LEADTOOLS Image Server. The configuration options include output format, output quality, link to image database system, text appearance, control of the LEADTOOLS Image Server's built in image caching system and much more.
