LONE-TAR Commercial Edition for Linux

LONE-TAR is a fully menu driven, data archiving and recovery utility that employs high compression, which guarantees to double the capacity of your archive device, as well as Bit-level Verification of archived data against the hard disk. LONE-TAR employs a Master and Incremental strategy to ensure that all your system data is rapidly available in case of a system failure. Every single LONE-TAR feature is now available from the Menu Interface, and additional features have been added especially for use with 4mmDAT and 8mm Tape Drives.

AIR-BAG for Linux

• The Linux AIR-BAG allows an administrator to have full crash recovery of a Linux system. When the hard drive crashes, the system can be restored without a reload of the operating system. AIR-BAG remembers the previous hard drive configuration and can automatically rebuild it
• Fully Automated Restore
• No "image" backups required -- Crash Recovery is performed using live system backups
• For those familiar with our famous SCO AIR-BAG, it will be very familiar
• Creates a 2-volume boot diskette set
• Allows full crash recovery of the root and add-on disks
