Step One -- Matryx Selection Screen

Any level of computer user can easily retrieve data using the simple Matryx selection screen. Drop down lists are used to select business variables and dimensioned data. Users access and integrate information by speaking a familiar business language rather than a foreign database query language.

User selections are broken into as many as 100 separate queries that could hit multiple tables in multiple ODBC compliant data sources. Matryx users and even database administrators are free from ever viewing or creating a SQL statement. Typically, only 15 minutes of training is required to educate users on how to build ad-hoc queries using MatryxAccess.

Step Two -- Analyze Results in Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables

Results are returned directly to Excel Pivot Tables or Auto Filters which have been enhanced for decision support. From this point forward, the result set is primed for reporting, charting, data rotation and distribution. All of the Excel features are available for users to thoroughly analyze their results. Information can be graphed, sorted, filtered, mapped, twisted, turned, saved, and distributed.

Matryx reports can be saved as an Excel workbook and be distributed to anyone that has a copy of Microsoft Excel. The Matryx applications are only necessary for query selection and database access. Large subsets of data can be extracted using MatryxAccess and then be distributed to key employees, customers, or partners via e-mail, the internet, CD-ROM or floppy disks.
