The Ultimate Debugger for
FoxPro DOS and Windows
RAIDAR is the only development debugger available
specifically for FoxPro 2.5 DOS and FoxPro for Windows. Just
invoke it from within your running application and go to work!
It runs with your application. It allows you to look at the
status of memory variables, open tables, indexes,
relationships, On Key Labels, procedure calls, and just about
anything else that you need to know! RAIDAR even allows you to
change the status of virtually anything in your application
while it's running!

RAIDAR has the following built-in
development and debugging capabilities:
- Look at application memory variables, environment status,
procedure stack, memory usage, and On Key Labels for your
application at the moment you want.
- Modify FoxPro Screens, Menus, Reports, Labels and Queries
from within your running application.
- View and Edit any program file, screen or menu snippet
associated with your project. Update either the .PRG,
.SCX, or .MNX files. All changes made are reflected in the
next project build. Edit several different screen sets
and programs while the program is running. Eliminate the
yellow legal pad and many cycles of the debug processes.
- Dynamically view structure, contents, indexes,
relationships, and filters on all open tables.
- Open the FoxPro Debug and Trace windows.
- Change the values of memory variables while the program
is running.
- Run FoxPro commands from a pseudo-command line.
- Hook in your own external routine and run it as a part of
Raidar.
- Quit back to FoxPro in a controlled crash landing.
Close down your files in a gentler manner than
"Ctrl-Alt-Del" does when your application freezes up in
an endless loop.
- Use only one menu, a maximum of four windows and about 70
memory variables when Raidar is invoked.

Look for these great features in Mac
Rubel's latest release of RAIDAR (for FoxPro DOS and Windows
Version 2.6):
- Menu Shortcut Keys: Set
menu shortcut keys on the most frequently used utilities.
You can change the assignments on the fly.
- Enhanced Debugging
Support: Save and restore debug sessions to a
special DBF located in the RAIDAR Home Directory. You can
save any number of debug sessions and recall the one that
you want in an instant.
- PHOTO Snapshot: Specify
what to include in system snapshots and if output can be
saved to archiving text files.
- DISPLAY MEMORY
Enhancements: As with PHOTO, Display Memory
now lets you specify what is displayed when the option is
called. It also lets you save the results to archive text
files.
- On Key Labels Handling:
View the currently active Event keys, toggle off and on
OKLs from the scanned list, rescan the list of OKLs for
different places in your application, and reset the
original set of OKLs captured when you activated RAIDAR.
- Custom Code when Calling
Raidar: Specify special programs to run
automatically each time you call a RAIDAR module. This
modification to RAIDAR allows you to turn off application
functionality that may interfere with debugging when you
call RAIDAR and turn it back on when you exit your
application.
- RAIDAR Path: RAIDAR no
longer needs to be in your path when you use it. Simply
specify where it is located in your invocation and RAIDAR
will remember where it is.
- Memory Restructuring:
RAIDAR creates 3 arrays to handle all housekeeping
necessary for the program. We eliminated about 40 memory
variables.
- PUSH/POP Menu: RAIDAR
now appends itself to the active menu. It no longer
PUSHes the active menu onto the stack when it loads. This
reduces RAIDAR's memory requirement and eliminates one
place where things could get "out of sync" in your
application.
- RAIDAR Error Trapping:
The RAIDAR error routine is now active only when you are
inside a RAIDAR routine. Your own error handler is in
force at all other times.
- Calling FoxPro Help:
Seamless from within your application, even if you have
your own custom help DBF active.
- SBT Pro Accounting:
RAIDAR now ships with a special program that creates a
SBT Pro Series procedure file browser. The file is
automatically integrated into the RAIDAR menu. Now you
can find out what G_SELQTY does and what its code looks
like without quitting your application. You can also call
the browser file from outside RAIDAR!
