Managing Made Easy with Enhanced NIS Support
NFS Maestro's Auto.Map support empowers an administrator to manage hundreds of desktop network drive mappings by simply and quickly changing one file on an NIS server. In addition, NFS Maestro includes sophisticated NIS password synchronization support that eliminates the need for users to manage multiple passwords. Integration of NFS Maestro's NIS utilities allows administrators to extract information from or about an NIS server extremely easily for network configuration.

Advanced Management and Reduced Costs
You get reduced costs of ownership through the most sophisticated administration tools for centralized and advanced management. Hummingbird's unique system administration tools, Jconfig and Sconfig, allow administrators to centrally deploy, configure and maintain all Hummingbird connectivity products.

NFS Maestro also includes support for Windows NT TSE, which automates the deployment of NFS Maestro on Windows NT TSE servers without having to install software on every desktop PC in a network. NFS Maestro uniquely supports the locking attributes of several NFS client products therefore reducing the risk associated with concurrent file usage and sharing. In addition, NFS Maestro's includes the ability to automatically resolve symbolic links across multiple NFS systems, increasing the access of files for PC users.

NFS Maestro Client enables PC desktops to access local and remote NFS file systems and printers. NFS Maestro Solo

NFS Maestro Solo provides the core NFS functionality of NFS Maestro Client to users while taking advantage of the existing and powerful multithreaded 32-bit operating system. NFS Maestro Solo supports Citrix WinFrame and is designed for local area network (LAN) users who require NFS client connectivity without an extended suite of PC-to-enterprise TCP/IP applications.
