Get the Command-Line Utility Package!

Pragma Systems, Inc. has developed Pragma Toolkit as a command-line utility package to increase the abilities of the NT command line. Ever wish you could change your password from the command line? Would you like to shutdown another machine remotely from the command line? Add functionality to the standard OS command shell. Change console colors, change computer names, list active processes, kill an active process, get operating system version information, even edit the registry, and much more all from the command line. In addition to being a stand-alone product, Pragma Toolkit provides the perfect client software for Pragma's server programs.

Pragma Toolkit includes many useful utilities and all the clients included in the Pragma Remote Clients package. All the tools use NT security to grant authority to perform the requested action.

Here are some of the useful tools...

• Console Registry Edit -- Full registry editor on the command line. This tool is great for inside remote sessions with Pragma Server products.
• Shutdown Program -- Shutdown any machine on the network from the command line.
• Show Active Processes -- List all processes running on the machine. Check out what's taking those vital resources.
• Kill Process -- Kill an active proccess. You won't have to reboot to kill hung processes.

Pragma Remote Clients

A console client allows for using NT as a Gateway computer. This means that you are able to connect to an NT remote session and from within that session start another remote session to another computer, that's not available directly to the initial client. With GUI telnet clients you cannot do this, because the commmand line is limited to character based applications.

All of the clients included in Pragma Remote Clients are included in Pragma Toolkit. Check out some of the other tools included.
