ProMath FeaturesDual VersionProMath now contains both ProMath/QB and ProMath/VB plus a version for Power Basic! Each version installs separately for instant use. Nearly all functions retain the same syntax between versions, except where the languages require minor differences. All variants are thoroughly documented in the ProMath manual. You get three versions for the price of one! Equation solverProMath lets you solve single or multiple equations with ease. Linear, quadratic and cubic formulae give instant exact answers. Newton-Raphson fast non-linear root finder. Plus for systems of linear equations we give you LUD decomposition. Matrix MagicThe full range of matrix operations are available to you including addition, subtraction, multiply and inverse. Both real and complex matrices are supported. Matrix size is only limited by memory. FFT and inverse for both real and complex data are provided, as are Eigenvalue and Eignvector solvers. Statistical analysisCalculate mean, standard deviation, etc. Then do curve fitting for spline and linear regression, log, weighted and exponential regression. Special functionsProMath gives you all the standard trig, hyperbolic and exponential function in both real and complex forms (including inverses). Additionally you get all the Bessel, Airy, Factorial, Gamma, Error Function (Normal distribution), Betas and Fresnel functions. Faster IntegrationProMath includes 16 new gaussian integration routines to ProMath 2.0, written by Prof. Martin Block of North Western University. These routines are faster and more accurate than previous integration routines and include a self test for rounding errors. Plus you can integrate over an infinite range and even integrate functions with singularities like 1/x½ that Simpson's rule just can’t handle! Routines include Gauleg, Jacobi, Gegenbauer, Cheby, Laguerre, Hermite, Inf2Inf, LowLimInf, UppLimInf, ZeroToInf, LogQuadrature, HalfGaus and LaguerreLow. Arbitrary Precision MathOver 15 functions let you calculate to thousands of digits with no loss of accuracy. Functions include arithmetic, exp, sin, cos, tan and log. Now you can calculate your favorite numbers, such as Pi, to as many places as you want. Graphs GaloreProMath supports a new scatter graph type for data plotting. Data points can be in any color and multiple shapes such as dot, square and diamond are provided. The original line and log-line types are still available. MiscellaneousProMath includes routines to calculate the area of an arbitrary polygon (including "cross over") and six routines for common orthogonal polynomials. Improved manualOver 150 equations have been added to the ProMath manual in order to make the math behind the functions clearer. Every single equation has been checked against standard math references. And there is more...ProMath also contains routines for: Integration (Guassian, Simpsons rule etc), Differentiation, Roots, Hyperbolic functions, Differential Equations (Runge-Kutte and other methods), Mean, Standard Deviation, Statistical Analysis, Bessel functions, sqr(x), sin(x), abs(x), nint(x), exp(x), cos(x), real©, amin(x,y), log(x), atn(x), imag©, amax(x,y), log10(x), Matrix Add/Multiply Matrices, LUD Inverse, Areas of irregular polygons, Quadratic and cubic equations, Fourier Transforms (real & complex), Systems of linear equations, Systems of non-linear equations, Interpolation (Linear, exponential and log fit), Special functions including: Airy, Factorial, Gamma, Error, Betas, Fresnel, and graphing functions, unit conversions and physical constants.
