Driven by a Data Dictionary

Which fields are shown and how they are presented to your user is determined by a Data Dictionary stored in two related database tables. These tables allow you to specify such field level attributes as plain English field descriptions, report column captions, editing masks, hints to show when inputting comparison values, expressions for calculated fields and calls to pick lists for selecting comparison values. You can maintain multiple data dictionaries and let your user switch between them at run-time. Note that each data dictionary can contain multiple related database tables.
