General Features

XP Fill Styles: XP Style fill patterns for the list headers and the time ruler.

Output to JPEG: Publish schedules to the web or take JPEG images of the schedules to enhance application reporting. Determine the area of the schedule to be captured and the control does the rest.

Capacity: Schedule up to 32,000 unique entities (resources) by any number of categories. Using the bar styles, bar colors, bar text in addition to the resource list and time line, present schedules in up to five (5) dimensions.

Drag and Drop: Full drag and drop support within the control and from outside of the control. Drag items into the list or into the schedule from any area on a form.

Tool Tips: Assign tool tips to the vertical scroll bar.

Back Image: Add your own custom images to the background of the schedule.

Resource List (Schedule Items)

Multi-Column: Provide various levels of resource detail to the end-user using multiple columns in the Resource List.

Column Designer: Customize the resource list presentation through property pages at design-time.

Check boxes: Implement interactive check boxes to a resource list column.

Cell Properties: Customize individual cells by color, font and image.

Row Highlight: Mark active row with an image or number using the pre-column properties.

List Headers: List items can be configured as headers/footers to indicate category titles/informational footers.

Alternate Line Colors: Add alternating background colors to list items for greater readability.

Programmatic Vertical Scroll: Programmatically read and write the vertical scroll bar location.

List Append/Insert: Programmable append and insert functionality in the resource list.

Ruler

Time Frames: Present schedules in time frames end-users want: minutes, hours, weeks, months, quarters or years.

Automatic Scrolling: Auto-Scrolling with time-bar movement.

Snap To Grid: Set a grid size so that time bars will align to that grid.

Definable Weekends: Define weekend days with unique color presentations.

Schedule Color Bars: Blocks of color can be assigned anywhere in the schedule. Assign the color bar to all or to a selected schedule item.

Text Into View: Allow time bar text to remain visible.

Time Lines: Improved support for the placement, color, and thickness of time lines that extend from the ruler throughout the schedule.

Today Line: Automatically places a line at the beginning of the current day.

Automated View: Pre-set the visible time period of a schedule.

Ruler Color Bars: Display color bars in the time segment of the ruler.

Customizable Ruler Text: Intercept and modify the time segment text at the time it being drawn.

Time Bar

Fill Styles: Support for gradient fills and pattern brushes when drawing a time bar.

Sub Text: Optionally display additional text within a time bar.

Appearance: Individually define color, text and images for any time bar

Predefined Images: 15 different built in icons that can be placed at the start and end of a bar.

Developer defined Images: Support for custom icons/images that can be placed at the start and end of a bar.

Dates In Time Bars: Display the time bar's start/end dates inside the time bar.

Un-do: Built-in undo feature automatically reverses an undesired time bar movement, addition, or deletion.

Conflict Checking: Built-in methods and events for detecting and resolving time bar conflicts at the item and schedule levels.

Vertical Movement: Pick up a time bar from one item and drop it in another.

Time Bar Styles: Create and apply time bar formats to illustrate different schedule information within a single schedule.

Tool Tips: Optionally display additional text within a tool tip for a time bar.

Selected Bar: Alternate color to identify the selected time bar within the schedule.

Lock Time Bars: Individually lock time bars to prevent user interaction/modification.

Data

XML Support: Read and Write to/from XML data and optionally include presentation detail. Remote XML file support for reading XML files from local, LAN, WAN resources and/or web servers.

Virtual Load Option: Load the schedule data as it is required. Improve loading performance when there are exceptionally large volumes of data in the schedule.
