ChemOffice WebServer 2002 manages chemical databases and enterprise chemical information applications using a web browser, ChemDraw Plugin, and Oracle.

Applications Included

  • ChemOffice WebServer 2002
  • Option to Add at Extra Cost: (E-Notebook, DocMgr, The Merck Index, ChemReg, BioAssay, E-Procure, ChemACX Database, Chemical Databases)
  • ChemDraw Pro Plugin 5.0
  • Chem3D Plugin Std 4.0

Features & Benefits

  • E-Notebook Enterprise
Streamlines the daily record-keeping of research scientists. E-Notebook pages contain Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, ChemDraw drawings, and spectral data, and can be searched by text and structure. Oracle or SQL support allows data sharing, with rigorous security and efficient archiving.
  • Document Manager
Provides ChemFinder for Word functionality for researchers across the enterprise, allowing searches for chemical structures in documents, files and folders. Unattended operation stores document references in a central database for searching by text or structure.
  • Chemical Registration
Customizable application assigns corporate registration numbers for compounds based on an organization’s business rules. Includes duplicate checks with stereochemistry, salt/batch/lot management, data validation and security. All data structures are accessible for customization using an application programmer’s interface.
  • BioAssay HTS
Flexible storage, retrieval and analysis of biological data. Designed for complex lead optimization experiments, the software supports the quick set-up of biological models. Data are presented with easily designed Excel templates, and can be queried by structure or text using ChemFinder.
  • Discovery LIMS
Easy to use web interface initiates laboratory requests, tracks progress and reports results. System maintains the full history of a request, including its status and audit trail, and allows requests to be sub-assigned within a lab. Stores results in Oracle or Microsoft Access databases and links to Microsoft Word reports in the Document Manager.
  • Inventory Manager
Applications can be constructed from ChemOffice and ChemDraw tools at any level. For personal productivity, use ChemFinder for Excel and ChemFinder tools. Enterprise-scalable systems based on ChemOffice WebServer can be combined with Chemical Registration and ChemACX solutions for complete management of chemical inventories.
  • The Merck Index
Structure-searchable encyclopedia of chemicals, drugs, and biologicals. More than 10,000 monographs on single substances and related groups of compounds cover chemical, generic and brand names; registry numbers; physical data and literature references; structures and stereochemistry; toxicity information; and therapeutic uses.
  • Organic Syntheses
Electronic version of the annual and collective volumes of tested, peer-reviewed synthesis procedures published since 1921 by the Organic Syntheses Board of Directors. Use it to find desired procedures through structural and text queries, and by browsing the Organic Syntheses Reaction Guide.
  • ChemACX Database
Structure searchable chemical sourcing information for 300 catalogs from leading chemical suppliers. The companion database, ChemACX-SC, offers hundreds of thousands of compounds from suppliers of screening compounds and libraries.
  • Chemical Databases
Information in ChemOffice format about patents, reactions, current drug development and other topics can be served throughout an enterprise. Databases are available from leading chemical information suppliers such as Derwent, ISI, InfoChem and Current Drugs.
