The following JDK editions have been tested and proven to work with JProbe Suite 5.0 on Windows NT, 2000 or XP.

IBM JDK 1.3.1	JProbe Memory Debugger may exhibit some instabilities with this JDK. A PMR has been filed with IBM. Turn off the JIT for more stability.

Sun JDK 1.3.0	Classic mode only.
Sun JDK 1.3.1+	Use JDK 1.3.1_01 and above when running Memory Debugger.
Sun JDK 1.4.0+
Sun JDK 1.4.1+

UltraSPARC Solaris 2.6, 7, 8 or 9

The following JDK editions have been tested and proven to work with JProbe Suite 5.0 on UltraSPARC Solaris 2.6, 7, 8 or 9. Patches may be required for these JDKs.

Sun JDK 1.2.2	The Reference Implementation of this JDK is required.
Sun JDK 1.3.1+	Use JDK 1.3.1_01 and above when running Memory Debugger.

RedHat Linux 7.3 or 8.0

The following JDK editions have been tested and proven to work with JProbe Suite 5.0 on RedHat Linux 7.3 or 8.0.

IBM JDK 1.3.1	JProbe Memory Debugger may exhibit some instabilities with this JDK. A PMR has been filed with IBM. Turn off the JIT for more stability.
IBM JDK 1.4	JProbe Memory Debugger is not operational with this JDK. vA PMR has been filed with IBM.
Sun JDK 1.3.1+	Use JDK 1.3.1_01 and above when running Memory Debugger. JDK1.3.1 is not supported in Classic mode, because it does not support native threads.

HP-UX 11.0 or 11i

The following JDK editions have been tested and proven to work with JProbe Suite 5.0 on HP-UX 11.0 or 11i 32-bit architecture. Patches may be required for these JDKs.

AIX 4.3 or 5L V5.1 and V5.2

The following JDK editions have been tested and proven to work with JProbe Suite 5.0 on AIX 4.3 or 5L V5.1 and V5.2. Note that JProbe 5.0 provides only the JProbe engine for AIX 4.3.

NOTE: JProbe Suite on AIX includes JProbe Profiler, Memory Debugger, and Coverage. It does NOT include Threadalyzer. The AIX patches required by IBM to run Java will also need to be installed. Patches should be automatically installed when you install a supported IBM Developer Kit.
