Visual FoxPro 6.0 Programming Fundamentals

The Fundamentals package is designed as a starting point for developers new to Visual FoxPro. Because of all the new features and techniques in Visual FoxPro, even developers already familiar with previous versions of FoxPro are strongly urged to attend these classes. This package combines our 2 day introduction class, TNVFP 5101: Introduction to Application Development With Visual FoxPro 5.0 with our 3 day intermediate class, TNVFP 5201: Application Development With Visual FoxPro 6.0.

After completing this five day course students will be proficient and productive with such Visual FoxPro techniques as:

• Working with the debugging tools including the Trace, Watch and Locals windows

Each fundamentals package includes the TakeNote BaseApp Framework. It is a simple, easy to understand application framework for students to learn from. It comes complete with a basic user logon, main menu, application toolbar, application object class and a README.TXT file documenting how to implement it. It is NOT a complicated, sophisticated framework. Instead, it is a simple, easy-to-understand, basic shell designed to help students learn and understand application framework concepts. We encourage students to experiment with it and enhance it to suit their needs.
