Overview
DevTrack's elegant point-and-click Windows interface consists of three dynamically
switched views. The Main View records Issue information and tracks project activities. The Report View

Control View manages project-related documents. DevTrack is the only tracking tool with built-in support
for document control and HTML links management.
Project- and User-Oriented
Upon logging into DevTrack, the user's open Issues are immediatedly
displayed. The Team Member Filter and Status Filter give users easy access to view any open and
closed team member Issues. Users can also effortlessly switch
between projects with one mouse click.
Full Customization Capability
DevTrack supports full customization, including page layout, field
names, pre-defined list values, user account type/privileges, team groups and group folders. In addition,
the Custom Page allows up to 12 fully customizable fields to track your one-of-a-kind data. The Report
Property feature enables users to include Custom Page
information in daily reports.
Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (VSS) Integration
Tightly integrated with Microsoft's Visual
SourceSafe, DevTrack enables users to check in/out VSS files associated with specific Issues. New
additions in DevTrack include: the ability to relate an Issue with the particular version of the file;
support for multiple check-out; the automatic insertion of your Issue ID number and title into the
comment field of VSS upon check-in/check-out operations;
engineering reports and more.
E-mail Notification
DevTrack's advanced e-mail notification now support the SMTP standard. Users can
now run the mail server as an NT service (instead of a program) or as a service working with their
existing mail system. Built in to DevTrack, the advanced e-mail notification feature allows users to
specify e-mail notification triggers, reducing excessive e-mail.
Screen Capture and File Attachment
DevTrack supports file attachments and a built-in screen
capture utility. File attachment is also implemented in DevTrack Web via file uploading and downloading
using a web browser.
Definable Workflow Option
