Step 1: Getting Video

You've captured moments of great celebration, playful times, and even bloopers. Gather them together and you are ready to begin! You can get video from: The Internet, email or from a CD-ROM. Existing videotapes or your video camera. Note: To use your own videotapes or video camera, you will need a computer that has a video capture device, such as a video capture card.

Step 2: Arranging Video

In Step Two you can:

• Edit fast and easy in the Storyboard view. Or edit like a pro in the Timeline view.
• Edit in native MPEG-1 format to speed up editing performance at a greatly reduced file size.
• Preview video and trim out all the unwanted footage.
• Get a fast preview of your video production.

Step 3: Adding Effects, Text & Sound

Adding Sound & Music
You've added the special effects. You've added your titles. Now it is time to add sound.

The VOICE step lets you record narration while MUSIC allows you to record a movie soundtrack from your favorite CDs and even add over 1000 preselected sound clips.

Step 4: Sharing Your Videos

The FINISH step has all you need to share your movie with friends and family.
