VCS offers multiple simultaneous views of a communications exchange:

• Events View - Shows data, timestamps, and special events (e.g. start of frame, control characters, and more)
• Frame View - Choose a protocol stack, then this view lists packets. Choose a packet and another pane shows a tree view of the protocol elements in the packet, hex or other radix pane, character pane, and other optional panes. Expand the protocol decode tree to see what is inside the packet. Errors are clearly highlighted.
• Breakout Box View - Shows real-time state of modem control and status lines.
• Statistics View - Summarizes data transfer, frames, errors, utilization, and more. Some types of statistics also offer graphic views.
• Transmit View - If you are interactively testing software or a communications device, you can send from the keyboard or a file.

VCS is a family of products. Currently we've released three: Async, Viewer, and Async Plus. Watch for Async HS Plus (extends baud rate to over 900 Kbps), ProtocolWorks (lets you interactively develop and test protocols), Ethernet, and BlueTooth.

The family of products shares a common, dynamically adapted GUI so you don't have to deal with "that" problem.
