XBase Data Toolkit

xBase Data Toolkit (RWK) is a Swiss-knife utility that allows you to manipulate and maintain xBase data files. Its intuitive user interface consists of a command prompt which can “guess” and accelerate your typing by filling guessed characters and a menu from which you can select a command to be executed.

Features

bullet RWK provides you with 43 Clipper-like commands, including some of the most useful utilities that a developer needs

bullet A subset of DOS commands included

bullet The command prompt can also be used to evaluate expressions such as inkey(0), str (0,2,0), 56/78, etc.

bullet All commands are network sensitive and equipped with automatic mode switching (shared, readonly, exclusive) making it possible to perform real life data maintenance while the application is being run on a network with several users.

bullet You can manually set the network mode.

bullet Supports various RDDs such as DBFNTX, DBFCDX, DBFMDX and all can be used at the same time.

bullet When an xBase file has an associated memo file, RWK will automatically determine its RDD. You can open as many files as your CONFIG.SYS allows and you can make a file current by simply typing its name or it area number.

bullet Browse window allows searching, adding, edit, deletion of records. Columns can be frozen and a browse window can be toggled between multiple record rows and single-record page.
