The easiest way to make Fox legacy applications year 2000 compliant!

Problem:

You (or someone else who is long gone!) developed your old FoxPro DOS, FoxPro Windows, or FoxBase+ application with Century Off. So all of the date fields and expressions have a two-digit year, based on 1900. You could Set Century On, but that would require a complete redesign of most of your screens... And you don't even know if you have the final source code... And, even if you did, your client would not be pleased to enter four-digit years, where it used to be two. Aaarrrgh!

Solution:

Change your application to use Century Rollover, like in Visual FoxPro. Brilliant! Now your source code can remain almost the same, and you won't have to worry about it again until 2098!

"Sounds great", you say. However, you don't have the original source, so how can you add even these two little lines of code?

Solution:

No problem at all.You can configure the Y2KFOX TSR to automatically add Century Rollover without recompiling. Now when you run your Fox application, Y2KFOX will transparently set the rollover year of your choice. And, it will even recognize that 2/29/00 is a leap day.
