Pathophysiology is the study of the functional changes associated with or resulting from disease or injury.

This course gives you and indepth study of those changes as they relate to injury and the numerous diseases and syndromes that afflict the human body. The information provided in this course will help you learn the necessary information to function in a medical office as well as to understand and pass the medical technology certificaitons of Medical Coder or Medical Transcriptionist.

This course includes instructor video lectures, instructor presentations, quizzes, and tests on 2 CD. It also includes a textbook and student workbook as listed in the end of the outlines below.

Course Instructor: Cyndi Stahl

Cyndi Stahl is a physician based certified coder with both the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and the American Health Information Management Association. (AHIMA) She has over 16 years in the medical profession. Her experience includes Billing and Reimbursement supervision, Practice Management and Consulting. She is currently president elect for the Central Indiana Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders.
